Dr. Lauren Hatherall, DO
Physician Owner
I’m Lauren Hatherall, a San Antonio native who’s lucky enough to call this vibrant city home. I was a college soccer player back in the day, and while my cleats are mostly retired, I still like to think I’ve got a little athleticism left—these days it’s mostly used chasing my kids and lifting weights in the garage. I’m a foodie at heart, a semi-fitness junkie (heavy on the “semi”), and love a chispa on a weekend.
I’m happily married to an Englander and works as a director for a youth soccer club—so yes, soccer is still a big deal in our house, and yes, there’s the occasional British commentary woven into daily life.
Together we have two kids: Molly, our very responsible and delightfully opinionated 5-year-old who fully leans into her firstborn status, and Archie, our wild, fearless, and endlessly energetic 2-year-old who keeps us all on our toes.
We also have Quincy, our lovable “San Antonio special” mutt, plus two elderly cats who mostly supervise the chaos from afar.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family at local parks, exploring The DoSeum, catching up with friends at the Pearl or anywhere near water—I’ll take a pool, or beach whenever I can get it. Life is busy, a little chaotic, and full of moments that make me laugh—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My Practice Philosophy
My approach to medicine is grounded in evidence-based care, with a strong focus on you as a whole person—not just a set of symptoms.
You know your body and your life better than anyone. I bring primary care expertise. Together, we blend both perspectives to create a care plan that is practical, personalized, and makes the most sense for you.
I prioritize prevention and long-term health by emphasizing sustainable lifestyle changes alongside proven medical treatments, when necessary. I also help cut through the noise of social media trends, separating hype from science so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
The goal is thoughtful, personalized care that’s rooted in evidence-based medicine and built around a trusted relationship.
I like to overshare.
